Mix one teaspoon of ground flax (about 5 g) with 150 ml of hot water or milk (about ¾ cup). Stir for about 1 minute till a slightly thickened consistency. Eat after cooling down.
Consume a portion of gruel twice a day, which is about 10 g of ground flax seeds.
Ground flax can also be added to soups, sauces, breads, cereals, fruit, juices, yoghurts or honey.
