ALE BCAA supplements the diet with an optimal (2:1:1) ratio of pharmaceutical-grade exogenous branched chain amino acids. These amino acids include leucine, isoleucine and valine—which constitute 35% of all exogenous amino acids found in working muscles.

Strength and endurance exercises increase the use of exogenous amino acids, especially during intensive training, as a result of greater activity by a complex of enzymes known as branched-chain α-ketoacid dehydrogenase complex (BCKDH complex). The complex is responsible for catalyzing the oxidation (catabolism) of branch chained amino acids during exercise which may lead to muscle microtrauma or suppression of protein synthesis (anabolism). This results in poor recovery from all forms of exercise and significantly less muscle growth from strength training.

Depending on goals and desired effects, ALE BCAA may be taken before, during or after exercise. It may also be used immediately after waking up or during the day as a supplement to regular meals.

ALE BCAA has a positive effect during all forms of sports and exercise requiring intensive muscle activity. Its supportive functions are also highly beneficial to endurance athletes during recovery.
