Isotonic drinks are recommended during medium or high-intensity exercise. These drinks have an osmolarity which is on par with fluids in the human body—enabling effective glycogen and electrolyte absorption.
The concentration of an isotonic drink makes it especially good at improving performance and increasing endurance while helping to avoid muscle strain.
For light exercise in hot climates where hydrating is a priority, it is recommended to prepare a hypotonic drink with a lower concentration of active ingredients. This drink will allow you to hydrate and regulate your fluid levels quickly.

While preparing for an intensive workout or competition, or after a prolonged effort, it is recommended to drink an isotonic drink or a hypertonic drink with a high concentration of dissolved ingredients—which makes it great for replacing lost fluids.
The product’s contained sodium helps avoid deficiencies lost in sweat and is especially recommended for those who often find white salt stains on their clothes after exercise or to avoid sodium deficiency when exercising in hot temperatures.
ALE Race can be used before, during or after exercise:
  • Before exercise - hydrates effectively and supplies micronutrients to improve training performance.
  • During exercise – constantly replaces lost glycogen, water and micronutrients.
  • After exercise – acts as a post-workout supplement to replace deficiencies and improve recovery.

ALE Race may be prepared as a hypotonic, isotonic or hypertonic drink.

Hypotonic drink
Dissolve 1.5 scoop of ALE Race in 650 ml of water. Drink 1 serving (650 ml) after every 30 to 60 minutes of exercise, depending on sweat loss.

Isotonic drink
Dissolve 1.5 scoop of ALE Race in 500 ml of water. Drink 1 serving (500 ml) after every 30 to 60 minutes of exercise, depending on sweat loss, or take 1 to 2 servings immediately after a workout.

Hypertonic drink
Dissolve 1.5 scoop of ALE Race in 400 ml of water. Drink 1 serving (400 ml) every few hours before exercise or 1 to 2 servings immediately after a workout.

USING ALE RACE

Endurance sports (running, cycling, triathlon, swimming, cross country skiing, rowing, kayaking, speed skating): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 30 to 60 minutes of exercise.
Other endurance sports (adventure racing, ultra competitions): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 60 to 90 minutes of exercise.
Team sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball, handball, hockey): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 45-60 minutes of exercise.
Individual sports (tennis, squash, badminton): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 45-60 minutes of exercise.
Fitness (aerobics, water aerobics, aqua jogging, gymnastics, crossfit): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 45-60 minutes of exercise.
Speed and strength training (weightlifting, jumping, throwing, sprinting): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 45-60 minutes of exercise.
Martial arts (boxing, kickboxing, taekwondo, MMA, wrestling, judo, jujitsu): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 45-60 minutes of exercise.
Winter and water sports (downhill skiing, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing): Drink 1 serving of isotonic or hypotonic drink after every 60-90 minutes of exercise.
